Meiden’s advertisement series wins award of excellence in 67th Nikkei Advertising Awards

2018-12-05

Meidensha Corporation (Meiden) won an award of excellence in the electrical, communications and IT category of the 67th Nikkei Advertising Awards for its advertisement series. The awards are sponsored by the Nihon Keizai Shimbun (Nikkei), a major Japanese daily newspaper.

The Nikkei carried the advertisements between December 2017 and August 2018. This is the first time Meiden has won a Nikkei Advertising Award.

The advertisements embody Meiden’s corporate slogan, “Quality connecting the next,” which was adopted in 2017. The slogan’s concept is: “For the peace of mind and joy of our customers, and the precious lives of people beyond them, Meiden Group quality will connect with a more prosperous tomorrow. This is our never-changing mission.” The graphic advertisements, which highlighted our desire to continue supporting social infrastructure by harnessing the power of “people and technology” at the root of Meiden Group’s quality, featured seasonal descriptions and thoughtful insights into different aspects of daily life.

Meiden is striving to create a brighter future by solving social issues through enhancing the quality of our people and technology. Meiden will continue using easy-to-understand advertisements and other means of communication to convey details of our efforts to achieve these goals to our stakeholders.

Note) The Nikkei Advertising Awards, one of Japan’s leading accolades for advertisements, started in 1952 and this year observed the 67th year of its inception.
