Key performance data are systematically and continually captured from live operations. They are analysed to provide insights to further develop and refine new models and variants of switchgear. Environmental analyses are also carried out to adapt the switchgear to extreme and adverse ambient conditions.

Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and Controlgear Panel
The Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) for power transformer monitors, measures and controls the system voltage. Controlling, either automatic or manual, is via the On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC) which regulates the desired system voltage.
Controlgear panel is a monitoring and controlling system. It gives off warning alarms and indication signals upon detection of any fault occurring in a monitored power system network. It monitors not only the status of circuit breakers, but also fault signals from transformers.
