The power transformer plant opened in 2006 to cater to the increasing demand of larger power transformers in Singapore, Southeast Asia and Middle East regions. It complements the distribution transformer plant which was established in 1979. The plant is capable of manufacturing up to 154kV 100MVA capacity. It has a tests laboratory equipped with a 400kV test transformer and a 1200kV impulse voltage generator. It also complements the existing power transformer plant in Japan to serve our customers worldwide.
