Product Features
Thanks to damper winding, it can self-start using the commercial power.Further, the mounting dimension is the same as an induction electric motor, and replacement from the induction electric motor is very easy.
The rotor is a cage type by integrally forming during the aluminium die casting and has a solid structure.
Using a high performance permanent magnet, it maintains the stable characteristics for a long period of time.

Applications and Solutions

The self-starting type PM motors and the inverters for a synthetic textile machine that are applied to a synthetic fiber (synthetic textile, below) line system have been adopted by many customers.
Textile machines have used AC variable speed for a long time, and especially machines in the textile production line of long fiber spinning facilities, from gear pumps to winders, are individually driven.
As seen in the configuration example of machines in the long fiber spinning process, the number of spindles per machine is large, dozens of compact AC motors are used.

What is PM motor
The PM motor is a permanent magnet type synchronous motor that does not require any DC excitation. The rotor has the same structure as a cage type induction motor, and it has a built-in magnet to exhibit the performance of a synchronous motor. Because it can be started with commercial electric power and operated by synchronizing the frequency, highly accurate speed control can be easily performed without feedback control such as encoding.
