- Switching between start and stop of the security function
- Displaying the current operation mode
- Changing the operation mode
- Backup and recovery of the white listing

QWhat is the difference between the "Start/Stop" of the security function and "Enable/Disable" of the operation mode?

The security function is used during maintenance of the WhiteShield itself.
Normally, it is operated in the "Start" mode all the time. When the security function is turned to "Stop",
all functions of WhiteShield are stopped regardless of the operation mode.
The operation mode functions when the security function is set to "Start".
The system is protected during normal operation by changing the operation mode to "Enable". "Disable" mode is used during maintenance of the application.
(Examples: When you want to temporarily execute a test program that is not registered in the white list, etc.)

QWhat is the "self protect" function?

It is a function for protecting WhiteShield itself from viruses.
The folder in which the execution image of WhiteShield is stored is protected so that it cannot be accessed.

QDoes the format of the storage media operate under NTFS and FAT32?

It operates under NTFS and FAT32.

QCan you set the port number of TCP/IP to a value other than the default value?

Yes, you can. It can be set when the agent is installed.

QCan you set a different TCP/IP port number for every agent?

Yes, you can.

QCan you change the TCP/IP port number later?

The port number is set when the agent is installed.
Because of that, it is necessary to reinstall the agent when the port number is changed.
