Meiden Ships World’s First 145kV GIS (V-GIS) Incorporating a Vacuum Circuit Breaker

Meidensha Corporation (“MEIDEN”) today announced that it has successfully commercialized the world’s first 145kV-class gas insulated switchgear (GIS) that incorporates a newly developed 145kV single-break vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) for the interrupter part, and has shipped the first product.
