Meidensha Corporation (CEO: Yuji Hamasaki; Shinagawa TOKYO; “Meiden”) announced that its dynamometer controller (model: MDOP-2100)  were recognized with internationally renowned iF Design Award 2017. Dynamometer is automotive testing system used for the automotive R&D needs. This marks the second time the award has been received, following the receipt of the same award for a dynamometer (model: MEOP) controller in 2015.

The product that won the award this time is an operation unit for automotive testing systems that conduct various performance assessments on items such as durability, fuel efficiency, noise, and exhaust gas conducted by automobile manufacturers, research institutions, and other clients. It is equipped with ring-shaped shining indicators and an LCD panel that displays the configuration values as a graph in order to achieve intuitive and accurate operations.

Goingforward, Meiden will work to even further improve quality in terms of design.
