In recent years, various efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions triggered by global warming and climate change issues have been intensifying around the world. In particular, in the field of mobility, the rate of electrification as shown in the Electric Vehicles (EVs) has increased dramatically in recent years in order to solve these problems. We are working to reduce the environmental footprints by providing motor and drive systems and EV drive systems that combine power electronics technology with its original motor business.
　This special issue introduces our product lines - EV drive systems and motor and drive systems. We also introduce the fundamental technologies that support their development.
